Chief Medical Officer
The Center’s Chief Medical Officer (CMO) is responsible for the delivery of quality medical care to patients of the Center, the CMO functions as a member of the multi-disciplinary health care team within the scope of their medical practice, but also oversees other clinicians and provides clinical direction at the Center.
Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner
The Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner provides psychiatric services and consultation in an integrated primary care, Patient-Centered Medical Home (PCMH) setting.
Under direction of the Medical Director, provides professional pediatric care at the Amistad Community Health Center, a federally qualified health center (FQHC).
Family Medicine Physician
The Staff Physician is primarily responsible for providing medical services for the patients of Amistad Community Health Center Inc., in addition, the Physician may be directed by the Medical Director to perform other duties in accordance with funding agencies requirements, contractual agreements, and policies, procedures, and protocols established by the Amistad Community Health Center Board of Directors.
Certified Medical Assistant
The CMA is part of a team that synchronizes patient, clinician, equipment, supplies, educational materials and records to insure a successful and valuable visit. The CMA’s responsibilities are related to patient care, clerical, exam room preparation and organizational.
Medical Office Specialist
Responsible for greeting patients, checking patients in and out, answering phones and calling patients, verifying patient insurance, collecting data, sending and receiving medical records, sorting mail, scanning and attaching documents, processing EOB’s, and other tasks as assigned.
